How It Works
- 1Trained on Truth SocialThe model learns from thousands of posts taken straight from Trump's Truth Social account, with his original capitalization kept as the answer key.
- 2Three-Class Sequence LabelingEach word is assigned one of three labels: lowercase, Title Case, or ALL CAPS. A Conditional Random Field model learns why Election gets Title Case (a grievance noun) while STOP gets ALL CAPS (shouting). They do different jobs, so they get different treatment.
- 3Features Beyond GrammarThe model considers part of speech, named entity type, position in the post, punctuation context, and per-word corpus capitalization rates. The word witch is Title Cased more than 90% of the time in the training data, which tells the model a lot on its own.
- 4Beyond PoliticsIt isn't just for politics. Pick Business, Sports, or Personal as your topic and the model adjusts its vocabulary. Mood and Subject set the tone: are you outraged or triumphant, and are you writing about an ally or an opponent? Whatever you pick, each word is checked against how Trump has capitalized similar words, then labeled lowercase, Title Case, or ALL CAPS.
